Over the years, Class 455s (like any rolling stock) have had incidents. The most notable incident was the 2010 Oxshott rail accident and in January 2019, a father with his 14-year-old son was killed on a packed commuter service from Guildford to Waterloo, but overall these have been good trains and we need to get our voices heard before its too late!
