Every time a signature is added to this petition, the supervisors of Lower Makefield Township receive an email notifying them that another person is standing up for farm preservation. Our elected officials MUST put aside their pro-development agenda and LISTEN to the wisdom of the people who understand SOME THINGS ARE WORTH MORE THAN MONEY. The value of the good earth that feeds us cannot be calculated in dollars. The loss of ONE farm has far-reaching effects throughout the entire region the farm serves. The importance of a fertile farm is not contained within boundaries drawn on a map.
