Last month, operator D&G Bus cancelled the 130 bus service with the traffic commissoner, meaning the service will be withdrawn on the 03/04/2022.

This service is the only bus that serves Alderley Edge, Coalshaw Park, and Handforth. As well as being only 1 of 2 buses in Wilmslow. The service also provides vital cross boundary connections between Cheshire East and Greater Manchester serving Manchester Airport and Wythenshawe.

It is vital that Cheshire East Council work to either re-establish the 130 with D&G Bus or with another bus operator, or to tender a new service that would continue to see the areas on the 130 route served by bus.
