Lawmakers / Regulate Private Hospitals

Dear Supporters, 

While there has been some progress because of your efforts we still have a long way to go.   
We need regulation of private hospitals to prevent the crisis with Taylor Regional Hospital.  
Local elected officials delayed stepping in to intervene with the crisis publicly stating that they had no justification when one board member on the city council also sits on the hospital authority board.  Private hospitals have some exceptions that are needed to secure the best interest of the public.  
We are asking lawmakers to regulate private hospitals in the same way that public hospitals are regulated.  To give local elected officials authority to oversee  operations.
