Under an Auckland Council proposal, over half of Takapuna Golf Course will be converted to wetlands, with the balance considered for other uses.

We propose an alternative approach: integrating additional stormwater capacity into the existing design so that the 18-hole course is retained, while still addressing local flooding concerns.
