* Update * the city has heard us ! They are going to be sitting down with the roller skate coalition to talk about creating a new and improved space at Sunset Beach for roller skaters !! This is BIG news and Thankyou for all the support !!! 

Our beloved local outdoor roller rink is at risk of being torn down to make new improvements to the sunset beach area. This rink is used by many locals who come to skate, roller blade , play ball hockey , soccer and more !

All year round, the rink finds ways to make everyone happy, and now we are at risk to lose it to another ‘new development’ . There is no other outdoor rink like it within the community or area, and as it brings so many people together in sports and enjoyment , it would be a sad loss to see it go . Let’s do our part and do whatever we can to keep the rink going and insist that the city keeps the rink within its new proposed plans and developments .
