We, the supporters and members of our local ice hockey community, are coming together to call for much-needed improvements to our ice rink, particularly in seating and overall maintenance. While the rink remains a central hub for sport and community, there are ongoing issues that impact the experience and safety of those who use it — including uncomfortable and inadequate seating, areas in need of repair, and general wear and tear that has not been sufficiently addressed.

This facility is more than just a home for ice hockey; it is a shared space used by figure skaters, families, public skaters, and the wider community. It plays a vital role in bringing people together, encouraging activity, and supporting local talent. However, in its current condition, it falls short of the standard it should provide for all users.
