Spinneyfields is a specialist 51 Bed Unit in Rushden, Northamptonshire, that takes People primarily from Kettering General Hospital, who no longer need to be in Hospital but are not yet ready to return home. 

It was taken into Northamptonshire County Council's fold in 2020, from the Private Sector, before being passed to West Northants Council in 2021 when NCC was disbanded. WNC now plan to close this unit in January 2023, with the loss of the 51 beds.

this will only put additional pressure on Kettering General Hospital and the NHS, at a time when they are already stretched to the limit, along with a number of excellent and dedicated staff at Spinneyfields, either losing their job or being expected to travel elsewhere in the County to work.
