This week will be a historic one for the Beloit Snappers, as the team opens up a new season at Pohlman Field for the final time. Even with reduced capacity, plenty of tickets are available during the team's first homestand against the South Bend Cubs-- so please visit the team's website and make plans to cheer on the Snappers this week!
Beloit's 2021 season has unfortunately gotten off to a rough start, losing four of six games last week against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in the Fox Valley. However, there are still plenty of reasons to be excited about this year's team... such as outfielder Connor Scott, who leads the High-A Central with 9 hits so far this season, or pitcher Kyle Nicolas, who only gave up one run and one hit during first start last week. Six of the Miami Marlins' Top 30 prospects are on the Snappers this season so we're certain some of the other guys will start putting up good numbers soon!
And please make sure to check out (and share) all of our Beloit River Rockers social media pages for continuing coverage of the Snappers throughout the season. We post frequent updates on our Facebook and Change.org pages... and if you haven't already please follow our Twitter page for daily posts on the team and a whole lot more! Look forward to interacting with all of you this season online.
