The California State board of Pharmacy is doing everything in their power to shut down small sterile compounding pharmacies. San Diego Optimum Compounding Pharmacy is one of them. The CA State Board of Pharmacy is not renewing our sterile license so we cannot help the people in need of our services. With sterile compounding we help our fellow people save their vision, hearing, livelihood and more. We believe your HEALTH is your WEALTH.

Imagine getting an infection in your eye from a simple cornea scratch or from surfing at our local beaches. Imagine getting an amoeba infection in your eye that not only can take your vision but travel to your brain with no alternative commercially available treatments.   Imagine getting an infection in your ear when left untreated can leave you with hearing loss. Imagine having a lung infection that is not responding to oral medications leading to diminished quality of life. Imagine being a parent who wants the best for their child who can’t find the drug prescribed for an affordable price. Imagine not being able to enjoy life because you can't find the proper dose of medication that works for you. This is where sterile compounding comes in. There's not many of us left and we want to continue to have a place for people in our community and state to turn when they have run out of options.

Without small sterile compounding pharmacies like ours the only medications available to you and your families are expensive, one strength fits all commercial medications. We want to continue to serve those who continuously need our services and those who find they have nowhere left to turn when prescribed compounded medication that insurances mostly do not cover.
