To those who value the magic and authenticity of our beloved Shrek films, I am just one of many long-time fans feeling the loss of the original Shrek animation with the upcoming Shrek 5 release. This is not the Shrek I grew up with, nor is it the one I want to pass on to future generations. The unique and whimsical animation style of the previous installments brought the characters and the story to life, and changing it now feels like a betrayal of Shrek's unique personality. 

There's an undeniable charm to the original Shrek animation that millions of viewers have fallen in love with. The franchise has grossed over $3.5 billion worldwide, proving its wide-reaching influence and popularity (source: Box Office Mojo). It's fair to say that the original animation played an immense role in the success and timeless appeal of these films. 

We are not asking for the impossible, but simply a return to the original animation style that has captured our hearts.
