It's been about a week since the last Board Meeting, to of which the audio recording are posted on the WCUSD Website > Board > Audio Recordings > 2023-24.

WCUSD 2024 April Board Meeting

I am still waiting for the March meeting minutes to be posted, This meeting was a Teacher's award ceremony and was attended by many faculty and staff, along with amazing supportive students and friends. 

Last year's meeting 5/9/23 for board meeting after the Teacher's award ceremony was uploaded with no issue, to note.

In my speech: I cited the same source as Dr. Flores in regards to suicide contaigen. In doing this research into the Superintendent's resources I had found many discrepancies with how the District chooses to follow this toolkit, yet not follow key considerations by this profound Doctor of Psychiatry.

I requested for Dr. Flores to meet in person with me to address this request for Sam's Seat, the Gold Rose Ceremony, and other remembrance concerns. I will be meeting with Emy Flores on Wednesday 5/22/24 at 3PM.

Thank you all for your support along us, This is not only for my Sister and what she deserves, but what any student should deserve.
I am not done, and likely this will grow hopefully into a foundation for a non-profit in the future to support the community.

I will be in touch with you all soon to update in regards to Superintendent Flores's response.

Both her district policies (in her role, code of ethics, and vision and mission statements) , and source Dr. Gould recommend for community engagement while implementing best practices.
