Get your 2025 calendars out!  Please share this information:   There are two VERY important events, and turn of events.  There has been no community outreach, nor effort to collaborate with the community by the County.  We need to show up and be heard!  5,176 of us signed the petition to Keep motor vehicles out of Sailor Bar, and the County is STILL ignoring us and proceeding with allowing vehicular traffic into the corridor of the wild animals, and into the protected areas as designated by the American River Park Plan!  

February 18th 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. /Please to attend the Disability Advisory Commission (DAC) Public Meeting at 700 H Street.  Regional Park Director Liz Bellas is going to present a 2025 Sailor Bar ADA Concept Plan.  Other than that we have no idea what she is going to present -- we suspect it will involve a plan to reopen the gravel roads.  

February 27th 6:30 p.m. /Regional Park Director Liz Bellas is going to present her "mystery" plan for Sailor Bar at the Park Commissioners Meeting.  Your attendance is critical! Location:  Regional Park Headquarters 10361 Rockingham Drive, Sacramento.

The County has completed an Addendum to the Environmental Impact Report for Sailor Bar.  Here is a link to it.  I will refrain from making my comments - you will be able to assess the obvious once you review it.
