Sacramento County, District 3 Supervisor, Rich Desmond is holding a town hall meeting November 4th, 5:30 - 6:30 at the Fair Oaks Water District building at 10326 Fair Oaks Blvd., Fair Oaks 95628.  The Sacramento County Executive staff will be in attendance.

The meeting is only an hour long, and there may be a variety of concerns outside of Sailor Bar so only a handful of the Friends of Sailor Bar may have the time to speak/ask questions.  However, just showing up speaks volumes!  When the campaign began nearly 11 months ago, Supervisor Desmond was not willing to speak with us.  He has since given us the opportunity at his recent open house in Sacramento.   Now, he is providing us another opportunity to meet with him as a community.  Let's thank him, ask questions, and respectfully share our concerns about the County's plan to reopen the gravel roads into Sailor Bar for public motor vehicle traffic.  Let's keep the dialog with him going.  The more of us that show up - the greater our message.

Please email me at ProtectSailorBar@yahoo.com if you would like a copy of the report by the County of Regional Parks Director (Liz Bellas) to the Commissioners regarding Sailor Bar concerns, and the recent Friends of Sailor Bar's response to her letter.  Please feel free to email me at ProtectSailorBar@yahoo.com, or call/text at 916.837.4159.

Your Friend of Sailor Bar, Jodi Sato-King
