The Candidates Forum for Union County Clerk and Board of Chosen Freeholders will be held on Wednesday, Sept, 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Cranford Town Hall, 8 Springfield Avenue, Cranford. Terry Thompson, a LWV State Director will be the Moderator. In the first portion of the program the Candidates for County Clerk Joseph Aubourg (R) and Joanne Rajoppi will give a three minute introduction of themselves and their qualifications for the position. The second portion of the program will have the Candidates for Board of Chosen Freeholder, Bruce Bergen (D), Joseph Bonilla (R), Rene Dierkes (R), Richard Fortunato (R), Mohammed Jalloh (D) and Alexander Mirabella (D), responding to questions from Cheryl Hehl of the Union County Local Source and Michael Shapiro of TAPinto.net.
