The Issue
PJ Palms Sports Centre of Petaling Jaya, once a gambling den, has been transformed into a community sanctuary thanks to the relentless efforts of Swimin12 Swim School & Management of PJ Palms. Our sports centre has seen a profound and inspiring impact on Malaysians and the Petaling Jaya community. A dedicated place for community growth, it's not just a centre, but our second home.
We now face losing this precious sanctuary. If Swimin12 loses the pool, the repercussions are devastating. Numerous local businesses will face bankruptcy, over 200 team members lose their jobs and a decade of hard work and dedication will diminish into oblivion just for another company to grow their revenue.
It's not just about saving a sports centre, it's about preserving our community lifeline, it's about individuals who devoted their lives to transforming PJ Palms from a tarnished den to a beacon of progress and community bonds.
We cannot let this happen. We, the Petaling Jaya community, plead with you to join us in protecting our sanctuary, sustaining local businesses, and preserving jobs. It's time to rally before the fear becomes a reality, and before another cornerstone of our community is lost.
