Dear Supporters, we’ve exceeded 6,000 signatures which is great. We continue to seek out Ministers of the new state government. At the moment, the Heritage Council has to approve the linear ramp, so please can everyone encourage family, friends, to send objections to the linear ramp to the Heritage Council at heritagemailbox@environment.nsw.gov.au

Emails should refer to SHR no. 00781, Close date of submissions: 26 April 2023, LGA: North Sydney and should include your name, address and stated objection.

An example: “The impact of the proposed linear cycleway on the heritage values of the Harbour Bridge is significantly adverse & unacceptable. Consider the Community Cycle Ramp alternative with no heritage issues, endorsed by North Sydney Council & supported by over 6,000 citizens.”

I’ve added an image of the linear ramp looking south, using latest information available from documents released by TfNSW and the Community’s own tireless workers. It is hard to imagine any Heritage Council worth its salt approving a linear eyesore, detracting as it does from the heritage aspects of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and its approaches.
