Dear Supporters, I’ve found and heard from you that the online heritage objection process is difficult and complicated and perhaps it was designed that way. There are other ways:

You can send an email to Heritage NSW to object, but note correct terminology in what you write is important. We have to address what the Heritage Council is tasked with overseeing. The main issues that will get their attention are:

1. Use the words "significant impact on the heritage of the Sydney Harbour Bridge”. The term “Significant Impact” is something that if adopted by the board will trigger further inquiry into the scheme which is something we want.

2. Mention “the Community Cycle Ramp with no heritage issues as an alternative, endorsed by North Sydney Council and 6000 petitioners” This is something the Heritage Board should be considering along with TfNSW’s plan.

You can send an objection before April 26 to:

                • Email to:   heritagemailbox@environment.nsw.gov.au

                   OR

               • Post to: Heritage Council of NSW, Locked Bag 5020, Parramatta NSW 2150.

Emails and mail should state:

Objection to: SHR no. 00781

Name: Sydney Harbour Bridge, approaches and viaducts (road and rail)

Description: Transport for NSW proposes to upgrade the existing cycleway connection between the Sydney Harbour Bridge Cycleway and the bike network in Milsons Point.

Time is fast evaporating. Your continued assistance is greatly appreciated.
