Dear Supporters, during the week, Transport for NSW lodged its linear ramp application for Heritage Assessment.

 The Heritage Council of NSW has given the public only until 26 April 2023 to object to the Linear Cycle Ramp that will destroy Sydney Harbour Bridge Heritage and precious parkland at Bradfield Park North.

They don’t make it easy, but if you use the above link and insert these details: at the Heritage Site search for: SHR no. 00781, Close date of Submissions: 26 April 2023, LGA: North Sydney. (I only selected the 781 then Search – may need to scroll down for the Search button – it worked). You will need to Register your name and address and then you can Proceed to Object, but only in 255 characters (including spaces). Use this example if you like – it contains relevant wording.

The impact of the proposed cycleway on the national heritage values of the Harbour Bridge is significant & unacceptable. Consider the Community Cycle Ramp alternative endorsed by North Sydney Council & supported by 6000 citizens with no heritage issues.
