This campaign is about protecting a service that has supported generations of children and families across South Tyneside. It is about preserving high-quality early years education, trusted childcare, and the dedicated staff who make the Stanley Centres so special.
Since launching this petition, we have been overwhelmed by the support from parents, grandparents, carers, former pupils, staff and local residents. The testimonials we continue to receive show just how important these centres are to our communities.
We are also continuing to engage with local and regional media to ensure the voices of families are heard loud and clear.
