Climate change is the biggest threat to our spaceship – planet Earth.  Every year the people of Earth travel 940 million kilometres together and our life support system is failing. We are all in this together.  Please help us get our voice heard.

Who are we?

We are a group of twelve to fourteen year old kids from Canberra.  We have got together to represent the kids of Australia who want urgent action to transition Australia to a carbon neutral economy. 

Our generation is going to inherit the earth and we are frightened that, without more targeted and real action, we are going to be left with a very sick planet.

Please help us. 

We can’t vote at this year’s election, so please help us get our voice heard.  Sign our petition calling on our nation’s leaders for urgent action on climate change.

 Help us to convince our political leaders that this is the most important issue at this year’s election. 

Our world is in desperate need of leaders who will dream daring dreams and set bold deadlines to take action to stop climate change.

Help us petition them to meet us in person and make a pinky promise to the kids of Australia that they will choose action to combat climate change over reaction to the outcomes of climate change.

Give us a future; a future for our families and our country.  A future for all the beautiful places and precious animals that call Australia home.

Here are the things YOU can help us do TODAY!

• Please sign our petition.
• Share this with as many people as possible.  We want this to be the biggest petition in Australian history.  We will need more than 1.2 million names to make that happen.
• If you are a grown up and feel passionate about this, make a pinky promise to a kid in your life to do your best for climate action.  You can post a photo of your promise to our Facebook group Save Our Spaceship 2K16.
• If you are a kid and want to get involved - contact your local members who are standing for election and ask them to join the pinky promise movement.  See if you can get them to agree to meet with you and make a pinky promise.  We would love to see a photo of you and your friends and the politicians you have got on board.  Ask your parents if you can post your photo to our Facebook group Save Our Spaceship 2K16 as well.
