As many of you may have heard, significant budget cuts are being proposed to our school system. 121 teachers have already received pink slips and if the town follows through with their decision, many more will be at risk of losing their jobs. This would mean that class sizes would increase and resources and services would decrease. 

These cuts would very negatively impact our schools, not just Enfield High, but schools across the town. Enfield Public School students will not be able to receive the education they deserve, but we need to stand together to prevent this from happening. If we do not stop these budget cuts, our school system will suffer greatly.

The potential budget cuts will impact the staff, students, and the resources that we want and need. Budget cuts will negatively impact the town transportation, Eagle Academy, teachers, sports programs, classes, clubs, AP courses and much, much more. Your signature will help show the Board of Education that the students of Enfield Public schools want, need and deserve more than what is being proposed!
