SAVE OUR FUNFAIR IN CASSIOBURY PARK WATFORD

The Issue

SAVE OUR FUNFAIR IN CASSIOBURY PARK.

 Outrage At loss of fun-fair.

" My kids are devastated,  We can't even afford a holiday this year. The COUNCIL are just taking away any fun that we have left"

The Council is not listening to what the public wants, this is an annual event that has been enjoyed in Cassiobury Park by generations of Watford residents for decades!

The Park is for all residents to enjoy, not everyone has a garden!   How can one week out of 52 be a lot to ask the Council to allow us to have a great day out in Cassiobury Park with our kids every year, to have a bit of fun and enjoy the Fair and the entertainment.

We have a family of 5. The council is forcing us to take them to different boroughs for a funfair. We can't all afford to take them to Alton Towers and spent £500 for 1 day which is ridiculous, the kids like the Funfair and also always go to the one in Watford.

Presumably, the council is so rich it doesn't need the rent that the fun-fair, pay when they're in the park,  presumably they have so much money from the council tax rises that they don't need any more money from local event companies.

We are absolutely outraged and baffled why the council, in its wisdom, has decided not to go ahead with this year's fair it's completely barmy.

The comments in the Watford Observer recently prove that many other residents strongly feel the same.

The Council has decided not to allow the Fun Fair into Cassiobury Park this year.

This decision has been made without asking residents what we think, if you agree and would like to see Stevens Fun Fair be allowed to continue to visit once EVERY year please sign and support this petition.
