So far we have got over 1,300 signatures, we never imagined such a response! Thank you ever so much.

We have heard that if we hit over 1,500 that local news (that can be local to any of our shops or head office) and are more likely to share our story so please keep sharing and please ask your family and friends to sign if they have ever visited one or our Free Bookshops. So many of you have experienced our Free Bookshops all over the UK and know what a valuable experience visiting one of our shops can be.

As the court case approaches with Sheffield Council. You, our customers are helping prove that we are real bookshops just at a glance, your support is fantastic and you are really spreading awareness of what we do and your experiences with us across the charity.  Anybody looking at our charity can go on to look at our other shops and find their local one and go experience what it is like to be able to get free books for no cost at all. 

We feel positive for the future and we are still actively looking for new shops in our old locations as well as new. We are really grateful to be returning to Winchester at 50 Colebrook Street on the 14th of September after being closed for almost a year when our popular old shop found a more permeant tenant. We love it when we are able to return to a community that we have had to temporarily leave until we can find a new home.

We have also heard that our Free Bookshop in Carmarthen (photo) has been placed in the top 10 second hand bookshops in Wales! That is amazing and shows the dedication our teams have to enable people to have access to Free Books. Carmarthen is very popular with local schools and frequently has school trips to visit their shop.

We could not do any of this without the continued support of our customers, it is our journey together what makes us who we are.
