Dovers infamous Banksy mural is on the brink of being demolished and lost for good. The mural is estimated to bring in 200k visitors annually. This is a promising sign for the potential of Dovers development. If the mural was to be protected and promoted in a gallery like setting the estimate would go up to 450k annually. This would create an abundance of opportunities and jobs for the people of Dover.

Banksy is the most notorious and influential street artist of all time and arguably the most infamous artist of the century. That being said, if the Council of Dover were to preserve the mural the benefits to Dover town would be countless. Not only would this benefit the town but also the Council and the residents. 

Dover Council are starting the development of the new builds on the murals' site. It is time to act and fast, before it is gone for good. Dover Council are destroying a historic art piece. Please help us to prevent this by signing this petition and sharing.
