This is not the post I hoped to write, but I want everyone to understand the heart behind the efforts a small group of us made to try to save this place. First - thank you. Truly. To everyone who signed, shared, commented on, and supported the petition to save our studio… your support meant more than you know.

Because of you, we were able to clearly demonstrate just how much this studio means to our community. The response was powerful, and it showed the strength of what we’ve built together.

Unfortunately, as of last night we received confirmation that the studio will be closing. Not only that, but it would need to be reopened entirely as a brand-new studio. There were two members — one with a strong presence in the OTF corporate community — who were interested in taking it over.

However, current management has decided to leave a blank slate rather than transition it in a way that someone could step into.

This isn’t the outcome we had hoped for, and up until yesterday we were very hopeful this would have been an easy transition. 

That said, it all comes down to $$$

If you know anyone who may be interested in investing in reopening a brand-new Orangetheory in this space, we do have the cooperation of KIMCO (the landlord) and will be willing to connect folks at corporate. The path has been paved. 

As for me, I’m unsure where I stand with my membership after this experience.
