The Issue

There are moments when unexpected news stops you in your tracks. For the members of Orangetheory Fitness Altamonte Springs, that moment came on February 9th, when we learned our studio would be closing just days later on February 20th. This studio has been far more than a place to work out. It has been a community, a routine, and a source of strength for hundreds of members. For many of us, it is where we rebuilt our health, found consistency, and showed up for ourselves—often in the early morning hours—alongside familiar faces who became friends and accountability partners. Orangetheory Fitness Altamonte Springs represents stability and belonging. Parents, professionals, and longtime members rely on this location because it fits their lives, schedules, and routines. The surrounding studios are not realistic alternatives for many, and this sudden closure forces members to walk away from a community they deeply value. We respectfully ask that this closure be reconsidered or, at the very least, delayed. Even a short extension of 90 days would make a meaningful difference. Ten days is simply not enough time for members to process this loss, explore options, or attempt to remain part of the Orangetheory community. Additional time could allow for solutions that preserve the relationships, routines, and loyalty built here over years. This is not just a studio. It is a place where people have grown stronger—physically and mentally—and where real community exists. Please sign this petition to support the members of Orangetheory Fitness Altamonte Springs and help us ask for more time, more dialogue, and a chance to keep our community intact.
