May 3, 2026

We’re pleased to share an important update: Councillor Kal Glanzing and Councillor Carol Provan have agreed to meet with us at Oak Park to discuss the future of the Oak Park and Shelly Beach pavilions.

Our petition has now reached 2,042 supporters, a strong and growing show of community concern.

This meeting has been organised because recent updates to the project still do not adequately address the key concerns raised by the community, particularly regarding the proposed changes to the open‑air changing rooms and the heritage character of the pavilions.

We warmly invite supporters and regular users of the pavilion to join us if you can. A strong community presence will help demonstrate how important this place is and how actively it is used, especially in the early morning.

Thank you for your continued support — together we are ensuring our voices are heard and our heritage is respected. Please continue to share the petition on your social media!
