Year after year Trenton offers a catenation of legislations that usurp autonomous authority of HOA’s self governance. This obnoxiously undermines our values. New Jersey lawmakers are targeting our senior communities with bills that could destroy affordable housing for people 55 and older.  Bills A3466 and S791 would strip away the rights of senior homeowner associations to govern themselves. These communities have worked for years to create affordable options for retirees, but now special interest groups and private equity investors want to profit from dismantling what seniors have built.
