Dear Homeopathy Supporters, Further to my email of 22nd November, when we were under the impression a final decision would be made on 26th November about whether homeopathy referrals by NHS Lanarkshire would continue, I was contacted on that day by the Communications Manager who wrote the following:- "I understand you emailed your list to advise that the NHS Lanarkshire Board will meet to discuss Homoeopathy today. This has been re-arranged for a December meeting now and I would be grateful if you could advise your email distribution that a decision will not be made today. Full details of the December meeting will be made available on www.nhslanarkshire.org.uk " to which I replied: "Thank you very much for letting me know. I will advise the signatories of the Petition. This certainly is taking a very long time (original decision was supposed to be 30th April !!) With all due respect, it looks like they are trying to see how they can spin their way out of getting rid of homeopathy referrals and taking a very long time about it. Otherwise why not a simple decision to continue them?" I will keep an eye on the website to find out when the December meeting will take place and send out another update to let you all know. Perhaps a little demonstration with placards outside NHS Lanarkshire offices could be held on that day while the meeting is being held, by people living in the surrounding areas?
