Petition updateSave NHS Homeopathy!Final Decision: Glasgow Homoeopathic Hospital (Centre for Integrative Care)

Homeopathy Heals Me
22 Nov 2014
Dear Homeopathy Supporters,
On 10th October 2014, NHS Lanarkshire sent out a report of the result of their public consultation to the people who filled in their Survey, mentioning the very high level of support for homeopathy. Our Petition on Change.org, now standing at 26,288 signatures, had greatly helped.
In this article of 26th October from the Cumbernauld News, it says 4,800 people answered 'Yes' to continued homeopathy referrals, which would help keep the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital open and 1,113 said 'No'. http://www.cumbernauld-news.co.uk/news/health/a-huge-vote-for-hospital-1-3582784
However, only 4.9% or 265 people who said 'Yes' were from Lanarkshire and had been patients at the hospital, which was noted in the report. The article also mentions the support of two Scottish MSPs, who said that levels of patient satisfaction were high.
The final decision on homeopathy referrals is to be made at the NHS Lanarkshire Board Meeting on Wednesday 26th November 2014.
