This is because the NHS Lanarkshire Consultation regarding whether they will continue to refer and pay for patients to attend the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital was supposed to conclude on 30th April but has been deferred until the end of September, ostensibly because of the Scottish elections but more likely because they were so overwhelmed with supporters of the hospital, they decided to put off their verdict! http://www.cumbernauld-news.co.uk/news/health/nhs-consultation-thanks-1-3472546 Until then, there are still some things that those people who live in Scotland can do to help the cause. Firstly, by voting for the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital (known as the NHS Centre for Integrative Care) or any of the staff working there in the Scottish Health Awards. http://www.scottishhealthawards.com/ The deadline for voting is 8th September. Secondly, the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Annual Review is being held on Tuesday the 19th August at the Marriott Hotel at 1.30pm (Tea/Coffee 12.45pm). I have been told that registration was today (11th) but as not a huge number of people go, it is worth contacting them or just turning up. The media attend this function, so it is important to say lots of good things about homeopathy and the hospital.
