Visit Us October 10th for Archaeology Day at Endview! (VA250 Events)

Mark your calendars! Archaeological excavations at Endview will open to the public for VA250 this Saturday, October 10th.  This is our chance to engage directly with the archaeology of historic Endview. Be a part of the process, so there can be future Archaeology Day's here!

We need  public engagement at the upcoming  City Council Meeting on Tuesday Septemeber 22nd at 6:30 PM. Our initiative has already had success! In July, the City Managers Office requested a review by the Council of Virginia Archaeologists (COVA) of the historic resource management at Endview. 

We need your support to drive this home at the upcoming City Council Meeting:

What is the plan for managing these archaeological sites before, during, and after these proposed developments? Will the public be involved? When will the review by the Council of Virginia Archaeologists for Endview be released? How may these developments affect our historic, environmental, and cultural landscapes? 

Please, raise your own questions based on your experiences and values, using this research/format as guidance when necessary.
