Neville D'Souza Football Ground in Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai is a vital facility where over 10,000 young footballers and 400+ clubs train annually under the Mumbai Football Association (MFA). 

Reports indicate a proposal to change the land-use reservation from a Playground to an Exhibition/Convention Centre. 

Mumbai already suffers from a severe deficit of open sports spaces. Destroying an active FIFA-standard football field will deal a devastating blow to grassroots Indian football.

OUR DEMANDS:
1. Immediate cancellation of the proposal to convert the ground into a Convention Centre.
2. Permanent protection of Neville D'Souza Ground as a dedicated playground under Mumbai's Development Plan.
3. Retaining the ground exclusively for sports activities and youth development.

We appeal to the Municipal Commissioner (BMC) and the Urban Development Department, Maharashtra to intervene immediately and save this historic ground.
