After weeks of 2 Wandering Cats tormenting and teasing the neighbourhood dogs, Molly was attacked by a cat in her own property. The cat scratched her nose and ears and caused her to bleed. The gentle Molly who has never growled or bared her teeth finally retailiated to the attack and shook the Cat which unfortunately resulted in the cat dying. The owners of the wandering Cat placed a complaint with the Council who made a decision to register Molly as a Dangerous Dog causing her to wear a muzzle in public and a special fluro collar permanently even in her own home and have a financial burden or installing extra high fences. 

Molly has lived in the community since 2019 without an issue and is very popular with children and anyone who comes in contact with her.

It is a very unfair decision as if the Cats weren't breaking the law by wandering the incident would not have occurred.
