[UPDATE] Dear Miraculers, it's over: THE ITALIAN VOICE CAST WILL BE REPLACED 💔 

One month ago, the Italian Fandom of MLB received the terrible news that, starting from Season 7, the Italian dubbing of the series would be entrusted to a new studio and the entire voice cast would be replaced by different actors. No one explained us the reason behind this changment and even today we don't know why the original studio "Dubbing Brothers International Italy" lost the assignment of the show after 10 years! 

In the following days, the Italian voice actors confirmed the news on their social accounts, adding that "there were structural changes within the project's organization beyond their control". Then, some of them explained that they refused to dub the show with the new studio after the replacement of the original one. Instead, some voice actors were not contacted by the new studio. 

Recently, the new dubbing studio "Jinglebell" answered to the increasing number of questions through an official announcement:

"In this regard, the following facts are clarified: 1) In recent weeks, the Jinglebell production team has directly contacted numerous voice actors who lent their voices to past seasons of the series, as well as the dubbing director and dialogue writer, with the explicit goal of ensuring the artistic continuity of the product.

2) In addition to full and obvious compliance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for dubbing, Jinglebell has also offered to support the production at a partner studio in Rome, to facilitate logistics for the aforementioned professionals and ensure they enjoy the best possible working conditions.

3) Despite the proposed conditions, the professionals contacted have freely chosen not to collaborate on this production.

4) Similarly, other colleagues not yet formally invited have previously expressed, via social media, their desire not to participate in the project. Jinglebell respects the absolute freedom of each professional to choose which companies to collaborate with. "

We, the Italian fans, are very sad to lose the original voices of all the characters...  We don't know why the dubbing studio is changed after 6 seasons and we don't know why the original voice cast decided not to collaborate with the new studio! Despite this, we deeply respect the unknown reasons which led the voice actors to abandon the project (it's a personal and private decision!). We also deeply respect the new voice actors and their professional work. 

The only "victims" of this situations are the fans... Maybe a lot of us will continue to follow the show in Italian, but a huge part of the Italian Fandom won't to. The show will change forever and our beloved characters won't be the same anymore... How are we supposed to pretend nothing has happened?
