The Issue

Paws and Reflect: Our Park's Peril!

For over 30 years, Minnehaha Dog Park has been the heartbeat of our community—a cornerstone that supports well-being and nurtures connections with nature. Today, this vital haven faces an unprecedented threat from a proposal that seeks to confine our park with fences and restrict the freedoms we've cherished for decades. It's crucial that we unite with unwavering conviction to protect the legacy of our park as we know it, ensuring it remains a sanctuary for future generations.

Unleash Our Park, Not Our Funds!

We adamantly oppose the $70,000 taxpayer allocation for these unnecessary and restrictive changes. This money should serve to uplift our community, not dismantle a cherished space.

Keep Our $70K for More Fetching Causes!

Instead of spending prescous dollars on unnecessary fences, let's channel those funds into meaningful initiatives like housing support, food security, and tree planting. Together, we can ensure that our community thrives in ways that matter. Stand firm with us to keep our investments aligned with genuine community priorities.

Barking Up the Wrong Tree!

This proposal is not an enhancement—it's a stark limitation. It dismisses the seamless daily access that we cherish from multiple entrances, spanning from the "Point" to the woods beyond and back again. These restrictions would strip away the park's natural allure and the boundless freedom it bestows upon our canine companions. Astonishingly, it seems no one sought input from the taxpayers or the park enthusiasts who breathe life into this space. We must raise our voices against this unacceptable approach and protect the park we hold dear. Let's take a stand and assert that this is not the path forward!

No need to fence in our fun—Minnehaha Dog Park is already pawsitively perfect as it is!

Add your signature for those who bark but can't speak—our loyal companions need your voice!
