We, the undersigned, hereby affix our signatures to this petition in support of the performing arts department at Melbourne Girls’ College and a 2025 musical production, as well as demonstrate the importance of whole school musical productions to our school community and culture.

Whole school musicals are integral to our school community. Melbourne Girls' College prides itself on community, interconnectedness, and being interdisciplinary, and musicals provide an avenue for students to achieve that. This is the only event at MGC that truly combines all disciplines and all interests to achieve a common goal, and allows students to collaborate in a unique, and vital, way.

Doing a musical in 2025 is a teacher-supported, student-supported, parent-supported mission - this petition is a demonstration to the administration of how important a school musical is to our entire community.
