We submitted our petition on the 1st December with 320+ signatures and a motion to the Manly West P&C for discussion at the Term 4 General Meeting. Neither was included in the agenda. The meeting was moved to Zoom, made invite-only with only 3 days to register, and new members where excluded from attending and receiving meeting papers.
We believe this is censorship and goes against the P&C Federation’s core values of inclusivity and parent participation. Decisions like privatising BASC services affect our children and should involve the whole community.
Parents deserve a voice. Transparency matters.
If, like us you are concerned please email your concerns to the P&C Federation @ Mail@pandc.org.au and/or MW P&C secretary@manlywestpandc.org.au
