We are hopeful that honorable court will give us justice and reinstate the pond technically it’s a wetland, in its original form. Even after court orders work on the site continued for half a day and land hoggers created a canal connecting pond with the main water canal, to let the water find its way. But this is a water resource and never it had dried till date. We cannot take the liberty of letting it be since we see non-implementation of a court order in other cases and thus we have to keep pushing this cause to save water body and save pone /wetland. Let’s keep the momentum and get more signatures, flood mailbox of the authorities just the way Ulwe ( wetlands are closed there as well and it has caused 4 feet flooding in homes) and Mumbai is flooded.
