The Issue
Lockwood & Co was canceled by Netflix on May 12th, 2023. Lockwood & Co, adapted from the popular book series by Jonathan Stroud, tells the story of a time in which ghosts are seen (only by young people), and there are ghosthunting agencys all across England, one which our main protagonist, Lucy Carlyle, joins. Netflix has become known for failing to properly market their television shows. Lockwood & Co debuted with a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and was in the top 10 for weeks. It is clear that Netflix is not treating their workers properly, and with the loss of this show, hundreds of people will be out of jobs. Will we continue to allow Netflix to treat their shows like this?
