We citizens of Lyon County,  Nevada petition the county to install a pedestrian crossing signal at the intersection of Red Rock Road and US Highway 50. 

There are insufficient safty measures at this intersection for pedestrians that have resulted in fatal accidents. These events have cost both residents and sheriff's department grief, time and money. 

We as a community demand thay the county fully fund the installation of a crossing signal to prevent future tragedies,  such as the loss of a 10-year-old in January 2024. It is the community's goal to make the road safer for both pedestrians and drivers alike.
