Over 4,000 signatures for QEH petition + ITV story + letter to the new health secretary

Over 4,000 signatures — thank you!
More than 4,000 people have now signed the Save the QEH petition. That’s a powerful demonstration of just how much our hospital matters to our community. Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared and helped spread the word.
Thank you to ITV Anglia for attending King’s Lynn, speaking worried residents and running the story about the petition. You can see the video here https://www.itv.com/news/anglia/2026-09-03/campaigners-call-for-transparency-over-future-of-hospital-services
I’ve also written to the new Health Secretary, Yvette Cooper, to make sure she is aware of the strength of local feeling and the urgent need to secure the future of the QEH.
I’m grateful to the Lynn News today who have led on the story for their front page.
Please keep sharing the petition. Every signature strengthens our message: our community deserves a secure, properly funded hospital for generations to come.
