Petition to Reinstate Ledford Coaches Tim Ellenberger & Andy Chappell

Our Ledford wrestling family—and the entire Davidson County community—is devastated. Coaches Tim Ellenberger and Andy Chappell have been fired from their coaching positions at Ledford High School, and we are asking the school board and leadership to reconsider this decision.

These coaches have given their hearts to this program and to our kids. They have shown up with dedication, integrity, and a deep commitment to building not just strong athletes, but strong young men.

Both Coach Tim and Coach Andy have been powerful mentors, consistent positive presences, and strong role models in the lives of every boy they’ve coached. They’ve touched countless lives with their leadership, support, and unwavering belief in these young men. The impact they’ve made goes far beyond the wrestling mat—it’s personal, lasting, and deeply meaningful to so many families in our community.

Coach Tim has helped guide my son, Jace Gallimore, through incredibly difficult times in his life. I truly believe that without his love and support, Jace could have gone down a very different path. Coach Andy has been just as steady and supportive—showing up for the kids day in and day out with encouragement, discipline, and care.
