In just a few short days, this petition has grown to nearly 1,000 signatures—and that number keeps climbing. The outpouring of support for Coaches Tim Ellenberger, Andy Chappell, and Carter Ellenberger has been powerful and heartfelt. These men have clearly made a lasting impact on the lives of students and families across Davidson County.

But despite the growing community response, Superintendent Dr. Greggory Slate has still refused to meet with us—even after multiple respectful requests from concerned parents.

We are not asking for personnel files or private details.

We are asking for a conversation about how these decisions are affecting our children and the future of our wrestling programs. Parents, students, and even staff are growing more concerned—not just about the decisions that were made, but about the silence that has followed.
