On February 11th, 2023, Krunker.io released a Q&A video with developer Sidney.

Although Sid has indicated an interest in updating and expanding upon Krunk_Plaza, he believes the map isn't popular enough to receive any work.

We, as Krunker players/traders, know that Krunk_Plaza is one of the most popular maps. There are usually ~70 players actively playing it at any given time, and this number usually shoots up to nearly 100 during peak activity, such as weekends.

Krunk_Plaza has already begun to show its age, as some of the billboard text still promote the release of Season 5. Also, when is the big red button along with the countless locations around the map going to be released?

An update and expansion to the map is needed!
