Hello everybody, 

I just wanted to let you all know that I have not been able to find more signatures for the petition---but I am not asking for more signatures (unless you want to share this petition go right ahead!) 

I am letting you all know that I am busy with senior year and applying to colleges, so that's why the petition is going very slow. But still road salt toxicity is a real thing! However, the thing is KC may already be doing something about it, so perhaps this petition was never necessary when I thought it was: KC does have a Stormwater Management Plan, using the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, which controls water pollution by regulating point sources that discharge pollutants into waters of the United States---so perhaps road salt isn't going into the Missouri River after all . . . So maybe the petition was not necessary, but maybe it still is; I must do more research.
