Hello everybody, 

So, I emailed  Missouri River Water Management (part of USGS) and to see if salinity is still bad. They did not know. I also recently emailed the environmental officer of KC Parks as well, because being as they must salt their parks, perhaps they know how much of each type of road salt to use; KC Parks has not responded yet. I will keep trying to find organizations/people to contact.

It is a slow process . . . oh well! If anyone knows anything about KC road salt here, any observations you have made, anything at all would be great (perhaps one hypothetical observation is - I've been noticing more green salt on the roads, instead of white salt): my email is marialunaschreiner@gmail.com.
