John Hope Board of Directors has failed its fiduciary responsibilities to act as trustees of the organization’s assets and must exercise due diligence and oversight to ensure that the organization is well- managed and that it’s the financial situation remains sound. Violation of the bylaws can lead to the internal discipline of board members or even shareholder lawsuits. In the case of directorial malfeasance, even criminal prosecution is possible as stated in John Hope Settlement House bylaws.

The Board of Directors have failed to recognize its mismanagement of the Organization. This is a grave injustice that undermines the community.

 The Board of Directors have threatened and jeopardized the integrity of our community's governance. It's time for a change in leadership to ensure fairness, transparency, and respect for all contributors.
