Thanks to all of you lovely people who signed the petition, Bristol City Council has now agreed that Jacobs Wells Baths should remain as a community asset and not be sold off for private development. They have now announced a public process to see the building returned to community use. The deadline for proposals is 2 May and you can find out more here:

Hotwells and Cliftonwood Community Association know of at least two proposals, one from Trinity in Old Market. You can find out more about their bid, share your ideas for what should happen and book for the next Stakeholders meetings on 20 April here

We understand that Norman Routledge from The Mount Without will also be submitting a bid. More about The Mount Without here

We will also be hosting a community meeting in Hotwells in April to find out more about what local residents want and need from a community hub. More details to follow!
Thank you again for all your support and please do continue to share this campaign so we can keep highlighting how important Jacobs Wells Baths is to us all, and what we need from a community hub.
With Very Best Wishes.
